Learn to Knit From the Toe Up Socks
In this 3 part 2 hours each class, you will learn how to knit custom socks from the toe up. You will measure your feet and knit a small 3x3 swatch. With this swatch, we will calculate the stitches to cast. You will learn Judy’s magic cast on( http://www.persistentillusion.com/blogblog/techniques/magic-cast-on/magic-cast-on-2 ), increases, stretchy rib and German short rows.
Students are expected to work on project outside class times.
Kit can be provided (kit cost) or student can purchase supplies. Supply list will be provided after purchase.
Requirements
Must know how to Knit and Purl
Know how to increase and decrease is a plus but not a must.
