In this three hour bundle dye workshop, Jane will share the ecological dye technique using fresh, frozen or dried Cempasuchil flowers to create colors and patterns on fabric. Reusing flowers that were offered on altars. We will walk you through the symbolism and history of Cempasuchil on Dia de Los Muertos and why it is so important to preserve ancestral traditions on textiles.
Cafe, tea, mezcal, panecito and materials are included.
